All Roads Lead to London - Ijesa Day UK 2010

Hi all,

We have been planning for it for months and yes, Ijesa Day UK is now just a week away. This year's celebration is set to be the big one with very important personalities gracing the occassion. His Royal Majesty Oba (Dr) Gabriel Adekunle Aromolaran, the Owa Obokun Adimula of Ijesaland, Yes Kabiyesi himself will be there - Confirmed!!! And he is not coming alone, you can imagine. He will be here with high Chiefs of Ijesaland.

We are also expecting prominent Ijesa people of industry, education and business from all around the world. All Ijesa Governorship aspirants, local government chairmen are expected and most importantly, we are expecting YOU.

This year’s event will take place on Saturday, 21 August 2010 at the Millwall Lion Centre, Zampa road, off Old Kent Road, London SE16. It will start at 7pm prompt.

The celebrations will be an opportunity to recognise the contributions of Ijesa people both within and outside the UK towards Ijesaland. We will also use the opportunity to raise funds for the development of the proposed Youth Academy in Ilesa.

So brothers and sisters, where are you going to be on that day? If you are anywhere near Europe during that time, the only place you want to be on the day is the Ijesa Day Celebrations.
